Southern Seven Health Department is seeking applications for a regular, full time Human Resources Administrator position that is based at the Administrative Office in Ullin, Illinois. This position does come with a benefit package, including vacation, personal, and sick time accrual, holidays, health and life insurance, and an employer sponsored cafeteria plan.  

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of the human resources department. This includes overseeing administration of hiring, onboarding, retention, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, and compensation and benefits. Other responsibilities include development of personnel policies and procedures, pay structure and programs for employee training, health and safety, and morale.

 Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a Human Resources field, or Business or Public Administration, or approved related (Master's Degree preferred); AND
• a minimum of three (3) years of successful work experience at a manager's level in human resources.
• Prefer candidate to hold a current Human Resources Certification.
