Southern Seven Health Department is seeking applications for a regular, full time Financial Administrator position that is based at the Administrative Office in Ullin, Illinois. This position does come with a benefit package, including vacation, personal, and sick time accrual, holidays, health and life insurance, and an employer sponsored cafeteria plan.

Position Summary:

The Financial Administrator is responsible for the overall fiscal management of the agency, including grant management, general ledger and financial reporting, budget preparation and monitoring, and ensuring that financial records are kept in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and all other federal and state regulations and requirements. Maintains and accounts for all income and expenses of the agency.

Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting , or Business, or approved related (Master's Degree preferred); AND
  • a minimum of three (3) years of successful work experience at a manager's level in finance
  • Prefer candidate to hold a CPA.
