Southern Seven Health Department is seeking applications for a regular, full time Early Childhood Administrator position that is based at the Administrative Office in Ullin, Illinois. This position does come with a benefit package, including vacation, personal, and sick time accrual, holidays, health and life insurance, and an employer sponsored cafeteria plan.  

Position Summary:

The Early Childhood Administrator is responsible for assuring all Head Start program mandates, Performance Standards, and all applicable laws and regulations are being met. The position is responsible for the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Head Start program. This position is a member of the Executive Team and works and consults with the team to develop the structure of the program and to assure that the program is strategically positioned for the future.  Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Public Administration, or approved related (Master's Degree preferred); AND

• a minimum of three (3) years of experience in supervision of staff, fiscal management, and administration; AND

• an extensive knowledge and understanding of Head Start programs, operations, goals, and philosophy.
