Contact Tracer Program Secretary

Southern Seven Health Department is seeking applications for a regular, full time position that is based at the Rustic Campus in Ullin, Illinois. This position does come with a benefit package, including vacation, personal, and sick time accrual, holidays, health and life insurance, and an employer sponsored cafeteria plan.  This position is responsible for providing clerical support to the Contract Tracer Program Manager and the Director of Nursing to ensure efficient and effective operations to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. 

Qualifications:  The applicant must have an Associate's Degree in a secretarial science or related area. 

Job Duties: 

• Receives and distributes all incoming phone calls, takes messages, and forwards to the appropriate personnel.
• Greets visitors and monitors who have entered and exited the building through the entrance through the implementation of the security system.
• Ensures that all required documentation and reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis.
• Participates in staff meetings with the team and documents and distributes minutes from the meetings.
• Participates in all required trainings.
• Enters data into appropriate computer software systems as required.
• Prepares isolation and quarantine orders as needed for contract tracing staff.
• Follows all policies and procedures related to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
• Performs other duties as requested or assigned to meet the requirements of the agency.
