Southern Seven Health Department is seeking applications for a regular, full time position that is based at the Rustic Campus in Ullin, Illinois. This position does come with a benefit package, including vacation, personal, and sick time accrual, holidays, health and life insurance, and an employer sponsored cafeteria plan.  This position is responsible for the coordination of the COVID-19 Contact Tracer Grant to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.  This will include meeting the deliverables of the COVID-19 Contact Tracer Grant and supervision of the COVID-19 Team. 

Qualifications:  The applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in a health care field, social work, public administration, or an approved related degree AND previous supervisory experience.  Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Job Duties: 

• Takes the lead role in implementation of the COVID-19 Contact Tracing Grant and keeping his/her supervisor up-to-date on the COVID-19 response and any issues or concerns.
• Supervises a team that collectively performs all functions of the COVID-19 response effort as outlined in the work plan of the grant.
• Coordinates and schedules staff to ensure proper staffing.
• Coordinates staff activities, and job duties including orientation/onboarding, supervision, and evaluation of staff.
• Ensures that all required documentation and reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis.
• Conducts staff meetings and attends management team meetings.
• Assists with the hiring process of the team.
• Participates in all required trainings.
• Networks and collaborates with other local health departments that are performing similar response efforts.
• Tracks and monitors progress and provides written reports, charts, and graphs as requested.
• Follows all policies and procedures related to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
• Performs other duties as requested or assigned to meet the requirements of the agency.
