Contact Tracer Community Outreach Coordinator

Southern Seven Health Department is seeking applications for a full time  position as Contact Tracer Community Outreach Coordinator that is based at the Rustic Campus in Ullin, Illinois. This position does come with a benefit package, including vacation, personal, and sick time accrual, holidays, health and life insurance, and an employer sponsored cafeteria plan.  This position is responsible for keeping the general public informed on COVID-19 related topics.

Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, or an approved related area AND at least one year of previous experience working with the media.

Job Duties:

• Speaks publicly at interviews, press conferences, and presentations related to COVID-19
• Creates a social media plan to schedule posts as needed about IDPH updates and guidelines.
• Perform contact tracing investigations as needed
• Participates in all required trainings.
• Enters data into appropriate computer software systems as required.
• Follows all policies and procedures related to confidentiality and HIPAA
• Assists with monitoring of agency website and social media to answer any questions.
• Communicate with patients, contacts, and general public in a professional and empathetic manner
