COVID Testing Program Associate

Southern Seven Health Department is seeking applications for a temporary, full time position that is based at the Administrative Office in Ullin, Illinois. This position is responsible for creating, coordinating, and implementing a COVID testing scheduling plan within the agency with the goal being to organize appointments for the general public and increase utilization of individuals receiving services provided by all programs and grants offered by Southern Seven Health Department.

Qualifications: The applicant must have at least a High School Diploma or GED. Preferences will be given to an applicant with previous scheduling experience in a medical setting.

Job Duties:

• Works in conjunction with the Contact Tracing Program Manager & Contact Tracing Outreach Coordinator to create, coordinate, and implement a scheduling plan for COVID testing events.

• Monitors self-administered COVID testing at various locations

• Works with the in-house Outreach staff to develop and create flyers for events.

• Schedules appointments for testing and vaccination
• Performs outreach activities to gain clientele for routine testing

• Assists with monitoring and updating testing guidance as needed
• Performs other duties as requested or assigned to meet the requirements of the agency.
