This position is a part time (10 months/year) position and is based at the Dongola Early Learning Center in Dongola, Illinois. This position will assist with monitoring of Head Start children on bus route to and from school on a daily basis. This position is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of children according to all of the laws and regulations.

Qualifications: At a minimum a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Pay: $13.27 hourly

Job Duties:

  • Utilizes a checklist for children to ensure that all children are accounted for when entering and exiting the bus.
  • Maintains emergency information bus files on each child on the bus.
  • Conforms to all DCFS and Head Start Regulations as outlined in Bus Manual.
  • Reports potential problems and concerns to the Associate Site Supervisor and
  • Ensures bus is kept clean, neat, and safe for the transportation of children.
  • Ensures children

Any other duties as requested or assigned to meet the requirements of the Head Start program.
